How Does the Soul Know When to Leave the Body – Garuda Purana
In this world all things are temporary including human being. All die one day. As time is proceeding all we approaching the death. But now question is whether the death is pleasant or it is painful.
The truth is death is pleasant for those who work well and pass their life being indifferent form pains and pleasure.
According to Garuda Purana death is peaceful and pleasant for those who do well throughout the life and who have good intentions while doing their work during the lifetime.
Contrarily, death is painful if you remain indulge in attachments, money, family, foods, greed and sex, etc.
Your Intention plays the key role behind all the rewards and punishments you received through your destiny.
Intention behind the task is more important than the task you are going to do. For a same task intention of different people may be different.
For instance:-
- One person take care his or her mother and father just to take money, property and wealth available with them.
- Another person take care his or her mother and father just to collect good conducts only.
- Third person is one who is never interested in doing any kind of service of his or her mother and father, he only wants money and property with his or her mother and father.
Situation is one but intention of the three persons are different.
Intention plays the main roll that gives internal pains or pleasure to a person not the task a person is involved in.
Death will be pleasant and painful it can be identified through the door, a soul used to come out. According to Garuda purana 9 doors are there that play key role when soul comes out of the body.
How Soon Does The Soul Leave The Body
Soul leaves the body through 9 doors according to the Garuda Purana. These 9 doors are as follows-
- 2 Eyes
- 2 Ears
- 2 Nostrils
- 2 Excretion points
- 1 Brahmrandhra
Sinners leave the body via Excretion points
Following kinds of people leaves their body through excretion points:
- People who remain involves in collecting money for their family,
- Greedy people
- Who never does good for the society
- Who always remain involves to satisfy his or senses only
Such people afraid of death and their life force start shrinking and go below organs and ultimately leave body via exertion organs. Sometimes their urine and faeces come out during the death.
Normally, Person leaves life force through eyes
A person who is badly attached with money, wealth, house, luxuries, wife, children and other people and wants to live more, leaves his or her life force through eyes.
Death ambassador snatches his or her life force and their eyes splits during the death process.
These people are very greedy and don’t want to die. They afraid of death and weep during the death.
Saintly people leave life force through mouth
Saintly people leave life force through their mouth and during the death their mouth remains open. Forcibly you have to shut their mouth to prevent air to enter inside the body.
People who remain involve in donations, good conduct, help others leave life force through the mouth. Such people remain detached from the family, money, luxuries, etc. They help others and needy people.
Leaving life force through the nostrils
Very gentle, and yogis leave their body and go out via nostrils. These types of death are painless and pleasant.
Such people complete all the duties before the death and remain no stone upturned in fulfilling all the duties assigned to them throughout the life.
These kinds of people enjoy the death and after death too.
Leaving body through the Brahmrandhra
Brahmrandra is the top most door of the body. People who receive Moksha before the death, leaves body and go out through the Brahmrandra.
Such type of death is very rare but not impossible. These people become one with the divine and liberate from the cycle of life and death.
